Howell falls to Lindbergh in JV Championship

The extraordinary run of the Junior Varsity Vikings fell just short Thursday night. Playing in the Mid States Club Hockey Association's "National" division, Francis Howell lost in the championship game to the Lindbergh Flyers, 2-1. Just one goal was scored per period, with the Flyers jumping out to the lead in the first. Howell responded late in the second, netting a shot on a two-on-one rush. But Lindbergh turned up the pressure in the third and scored with under five minutes remaining in the game. Congrats to the Francis Howell JV Vikings on making it to the championship game!!
